With about 135 000 works of art, this museum is one of the firsts collections of the Great West. All 350 objects on display until September 30th are examples of the diversity of the the departmental museum's collections. Here, a painting representing Thomas Dobrée stands next to pistols from the XVIIIth century, Art Déco vases, a mammoth’s baby tooth from the Paleolithic, together with the spectacular reliquary that once contained Anne of Brittany’s heart.
