A Journey through the Collections
From 19 September 2015 to 3 January 2016 at the Musée Dobrée
The collections of the Musée Dobrée leave their reserves and are exhibited at the museum.
Ancient and medieval sculptures, Greek ceramics, Asian and Egyptian statues, ritual objects from Africa and Oceania, paintings from the 16th to 19th centuries, engravings by Dürer and Rembrandt, ducal gold coins, weapons from the five continents and of course, the fabulous gold jewel containing the heart of Anne of Brittany are on display as part of this remarkable exhibition, representative of the museum’s collections of over 130,000 pieces.
