The Thomas Dobrée Staurotheke: a relic containing a fragment of the True Cross.
This precious object, from the collections of the Musée Dobrée, is linked to the cult of True Cross relics. In the company of Camille Broucke, head curator of scientific research at the Grand Patrimoine de Loire-Atlantique, learn more about this ‘relic of the True Cross’ with its finely crafted decoration.
Visitors can see this object on display as part of the exhibition A Journey through the Collections at the Musée Dobrée, Nantes, from 19 September 2015 to 3 January 2016!
